#167

going back the last 7 days.....#161, #162 and #163 were just burpees.  Saturday was day #164 which was also the day of my Super Spartan race.  The race was a blast and had more challenges than the previous year - I ended up having to do 90 burpees during the race so after I did the remaining 74 -it was exhausting.  Sunday I had planned to do the crossfit games open WOD 1 -which was a 7 min AMRAP of burpees with a 6" mark above your reach that you had to touch with both hands with each burpee jump.  My first attempt I was only able to knock out 92 and I was very disappointed in myself, I figured I could get more seeing that I have been doing burpees everyday for 164 days.  I'm not one to make excuses but I will say my hips and knees were extremely sore from the 8 and half mile Super Spartan and I also realized that while I may be conditioned to do burpees on a daily basis, I haven't been doing them in a racing manner.  Because of my stubbornness, I attempted the 7 minute AMPRAP 2 hours later!  The second attempt I was only able to get 85- again disappointing to me and my burpee body but the 2 attempts did manage to get more than my allotted burpees for the day and left my shoulders more sore than they have been in a while.  Yesterday's 166 were just  burpees and then today, day #167 I did them as a WOD.  Today's WOD -
25-23-21-19-17-15-13-11-9-7-5-2.....burpees, front squats(65#) and lower abs.  Total count....14,028!!!
