Day #291...42,486

Days #286 and 287 I just did burpees....my abs were killing me from the 250 sit ups in my Day 285 workout.  Day #288, I did at the gym between sets of back exercises.  All the meat heads at 24 hour fitness were looking at me like I was a crazy person.

Day #289 I got to do with 2 of my OLWB (Old Ladies With Babies) ....
Amy programmed this workout then I modified it slightly to be able to incorporate my burpees  -

the workout she programmed was:
200 double unders
50 back squats (65#)
40 chin ups
30 KB swings (35#)
run 1 mile
30 KB swings
40 chin ups
50 back squats
200 double unders

I figured if I started with burpees and did some between each exercise and also ended with burpees - I could get 10 sets of 29 (28 on the last).

it sounded like a good idea.....

While Amy and Tara were warming up, I decided to do the first set of 29 burpees and last set of 28 as my warm up so we could all start together with the double unders.  I knew I would probably  have to cut some of the rest on the exercises and shorten the run just so I could come even close to finishing with Amy and Tara.

warmed up with 57 burpees

200 double unders
29 burpees
40 back squats (65#)
29 burpees
20 chin ups
29 burpees
30 KB swings (35#)
29 burpees
1/2 mile run
29 burpees
30 KB swings
.......then i hit a wall
so i just did the last 87 burpees without the other set of squats, chin ups and double unders.
took 47:49

Day #290 I had to get done early (was heading up to Hollywood, Fl for my 20 year high school reunion)....I kept a good pace - sets of 20 and got 'em done pretty fast.

Today was day #291....not gonna lie...they were not fun - very slow paced!
