Days 279 - 284 were mainly just burpees.....I did different sets of core exercises between them and even a small "back" routine one day in between sets of burpees...Day 283 I passed to 40,000 mark which was a great milestone.
Today I did a fun workout with my burpees....Day #285
5 rounds for time
57 burpees
50 walking lunges
50 abmat sit ups....45:57
total count so far....40,755!!! 81 days left....that's very hard to believe.

DAY #278
Days #275, 276 and 277 were only burpees done in Key West! Day #275 was the 9 month mark on this journey.
Today, I saw the WOD on a crossfit site - "Air Force WOD" which was
20 thrusters (65#)
20 Sumo Deadlift High Pull
20 push jerk
20 overhead squats
20 front squats
then 4 burpees every minute on the minute
I decided that was way too much to keep track of....the 20 reps, watching the clock and keeping a tally of all my burpees so I changed it up some
did 4 rounds of 5 thrusters/14 burpees
then 4 rounds of 5 SDHP/14 burpees....and so on
the 4th round of front squat/burpees....I only had to do 12 burpees to hit the 278!

Day #274 -Holy Shoulders Batman!
WOW!!! I let my boss design my workout today for Day #274....as if 274 burpees weren't crazy enough.
here's the workout -will be followed by video showing a few reps of each part.
1 burpee (that was the easy part)
20 lateral reaching lunges into and overhead press with a 15# dumbbell in each hand
26 burpees with dumbbell thruster (2 -15#)
20 bent over barbell rows (45# bar)
25 burpees to deadlift (85#)
20 pistols (10 each leg)
24 burpees into a front kick
20 reverse fly with dumbbells (15#)
23 burpees into lateral raise (10# dumbbells)
20 barbell push press (65#)
22 burpees into power clean (65#)
90 seconds punching bag
21 burpees into 1-2 punch combo
60 seconds with battle ropes
20 burpees into high battle rope
the whole thing repeats now with the burpees going down (19 thusters, 18 deadlift, 17 front kick...etc) however, the 20 reps of the exercises between stayed at 20.

Day #273
Days #269, 270 and 271 were just burpees....burpees on the weekend tend to just be burpees - can't find the time to get to the gym or the motivation to add to them when I'm at home. Yesterday, I was at the gym for 272....I did a quick cardio warm up for 5 minutes then just banged out all 272 burpees - took about 30 minutes - people at 24 hour fitness looked at me like I was crazy....then I met up with a friend and did a serious old school chest and core workout....with some weighted walking lunges for fun and a few front squats with 80#!! Today is 273 - burpees were slow but consistent. Tomorrow is gonna be an insane workout with them...will post about it tomorrow!!

Today was just burpees - felt like slow motion burpees...sore from the workout with them yesterday and I plant to do day #266 tomorrow for time!!! :)
